Frequently asked questions

Can a beneficiary log in?
No. Youth, students or other DET beneficiaries do not have a portal account. The training incharge/SPOC registers them for attendance.
Does a beneficiary need to register online?
No. Authorised training centre staff complete registration after the person joins the training centre or programme.
How is attendance marked?
At registration the training centre takes a face photograph (camera). Present compares a live photo to that enrolment photo. If no enrolment face exists yet, the first Present capture is saved as the enrolment photo and the person is marked Present.
Is Aadhaar OTP / eKYC used?
No. UIDAI does not allow unofficial Aadhaar OTP. Training incharge/SPOC or trainer may optionally enter the 12-digit Aadhaar on the registration form. The system stores only a hash and last 4 digits (XXXX-XXXX-1234), plus an uploaded ID-proof copy. There is no Aadhaar OTP login for beneficiaries.
Can attendance be changed later?
Yes. Tap a different status on the roll. Absent or Leave to Present still needs GPS and a face scan. Changes are stored in the audit log.
How is a certificate issued?
Where a programme issues certificates, the system checks rules such as minimum attendance. The public can verify with QR / registration number.
Can the same trainee be registered twice?
No live duplicate. The same 10-digit mobile or the same Aadhaar cannot sit in two live batches. A second registration is allowed only after dropout, inactive, certificate issued, or the previous batch is completed. There is no Aadhaar OTP / eKYC and no SMS OTP in this version.
Is this the ITI admission portal?
No. Admissions remain on iti.telangana.gov.in. This system is DET attendance tracking after a person is enrolled under the department.
